AFK promotes French language and Francophone culture by organizing cultural events, enhancing the intercultural dialogue promoting cultural diversity.

The Alliance Française works to fulfill three essential missions:
• Promoting French language by proposing French classes for all
• Spreading awareness of French and Francophone culture by organizing cultural events, providing a documentation center and introducing scientific culture
• Promoting cultural diversity

The Allliance Française aims to:
• Keep on being the learning center of choice in Katmandou for the learning of the French language, and for the promotion of francophone cultures in a thriving environment.
• Facilitate the development and sustainability of the human and physical resources of the Alliance Française
• Develop the Alliance activity by proposing new place options, motivating more students/clients
• Make the Alliance more visible and let people know why they should learn French
• Maintain the Alliance up to date adopting new technologies
