Guinness World Record – World’s Largest Human National Flag “Nepal”

It is an event that brings Nepalese Citizens together from all backgrounds to celebrate the Unity in Diversity of our country under the most beautiful and Unique National Flag.

It is an official attempt for the “Largest Human National Flag” for the Guinness World Records by breaking the earlier record as below:

The largest human national flag consists of 28,957 participants and was achieved by Punjab Youth Festival 2014, organized by Sports Board Punjab at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan on 15 February 2014.

Breaking the record: Our attempt is to create a new record by bringing together more than 30,000 participants to form “The Largest Human National Flag” of Nepal. Every participant will hold a unique card and display it over head which will collectively form the national flag of Nepal, seen best through an aerial view.

This event will not only involve publics/citizens but also sensitizes them on the issues of the Nation and your support will bring about an attitudinal change and galvanize this cause.

It is an effort to enhance the sense of belongingness and responsibility, patriotism and pride towards the Nation. It is also intended to deliver the practical message Together We Stand, Divided We Fall which is utmost needed in today’s context.

This event will also promote our beautiful and Unique National Flag in a Global arena.

Event date will be August 9, 2014, Saturday, Time: 6-9 am,Venue: Tundikhel, Kathmandu.

You will get a call for “Face to Face” interview after receiving your application for the final selection as an “Official Volunteer” .
