The Story

During Indrajatra (the festival of Rain-God Indra) the Living Goddess "Kumari" visits the border of Kathmandu city on a chariot. She does this every year, except this was the city border in the 12th century. Join us on this wonderful look at the culture of the Kumari, and the rich Newar culture in what is now the center of town!
