Short description: 
This workshop is designed for students who are interested in taking street portraits but find it outside of their comfort zone to go up to a stranger to take their photo. Students will learn about basic composition rules to frame their portraits as well as the skills and techniques to approach and engage strangers to pose for them on the streets. 

Course Detail:

Day 1:
Introduction to Street Photography
Technical considerations (types of lens, preferred settings etc)
Framing
Tips on how to frame, what to avoid
Approaching subjects 
How to make subjects feel comfortable and natural etc
In-class practise

Day 2: 
Guided shoot 
Making contact with strangers 
Engaging your subject

Day 3: 
Critique & feedback
Wrap up

Highlights and Outcome: 
Learn the art of shooting people/portraits (through camera) and developing a comfort level.
