Open Bazaar

7 December 2013, Saturday, will witness the start of the Open Bazaar at Embassy Restaurant, Lazimpat. The event will be a one-day event open to public from 12pm - 4pm. The Bazaar will be held every fortnight of the month on the 1st and 3rd Saturday. The name Open Bazaar has been decided based on the objective that this Bazaar will be open to anyone interested to promote and market their ideas, ventures, products or services. It is a much needed platform for individuals, organisations and ventures to get noticed along with providing the guests a chance to learn and contribute as well.

Organised by Bihani Social Venture and ChangeFusion Nepal in association with Embassy Restaurant, it has been conceived as a one of its kind event featuring innovative products and services (Food and drinks, Apparels and accessories, Home Décor and handicrafts, and more). The event will also promote cultural events and provide a platform to upcoming artists and performers in music, art, theatre, poetry etc.

Each Open Bazaar will showcase a varied range of products and services. Our aim is to provide a wide range of products to the visitors along with, learning about the entrepreneurs/ organisations and their ventures. The Bazaar is not, just an event for business transaction but a platform, for the visitors and the exhibitors to network and exchange ideas along with providing a source of income generation for the entrepreneurs, organisations and ventures.

The Bazaar will feature entrepreneurs above the age of 50 specifically as well, which is the target group of Bihani Social Venture along with young social entrepreneurs from the network of ChangeFusion Nepal. The aim is to create an open platform for all generations to come together along with learning from each other. Embassy restaurant by providing the venue will be creating a market for the entrepreneurs and ventures to promote their products, services and ideas.
