Future Makers Challenge “अब हाम्रो पालो”: Submit and win 5000NRS
What’s in it for you? We have designed this challenge as an experience that rewards you for your ideas and creativity:
Everyone will post their submission on the edgeryders.eu platform, and then we will care to raise publicity for each submission.
Edgeryders is a great online community where you will meet like-minded people from all over the world. Your submissions will boost discussions with them, and this way your idea can be improved, or attract skilled collaborators with whom to make your idea happen. We saw it happen there already!
The best 20 submissions will be included in a digital & print magazine. This magazine will also take part in Nepal’s national dialogue, because we will care to get it into the hands of influential figures and passionate readers.
And we also have cash prizes of course – six prizes of Rs. 5000 each for the best submissions, and two prizes of Rs. 5000 each for “Great Debate Awards” which go to those authors who stir the richest dialogue in the comments to their submissions. So make sure your friends know of your contribution ;-)
Let’s be creative together about how to make a bright future happen for Nepal! The volunteers did a great job after the earthquake, but there is a lot left to do for all of us ;-) So we invite you to submit your thoughts about How can we organize ourselves for progress in Nepal? This is a broad topic, so you can focus on one or some aspects. Feel inspired – but not limited – by the following questions:
Who are the people who get good things done in Nepal (our “leaders”)? How can we build and support new social movements in Nepal? Aspects to discuss include gender, youth, tech, education, arts, politics, economy etc..
How can Nepal’s post-earthquake volunteer movement stick together and work on other issues? How can it organize itself to not be compromised by struggles over money and power?
How can we continue to practice the unity that many showed after the earthquake, helping without regard for gender, religion, race or caste?
