On Sunday, June 19 2016 UNHCR Nepal together with Cycle City Network Nepal is organizing a cycle rally to mark the World Refugee Day 2016.

The World Refugee Day is celebrated every year on June 20th to commemorate the strength, courage and perseverance of millions of refugees. This year, World Refugee Day also marks a key moment for the public to show support for families forced to flee.

In a world where violence forces thousands of families to flee for their lives each day, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, believes now is the time to show world leaders that the global public stands #WithRefugees. To do this, UNHCR has launched #WithRefugees petition to send a message to governments that they must work together and do their fair share for refugees.

You can add your name to the #WithRefugees petition at www.refugee.day to send a clear message to governments that they must act with solidarity and shared responsibility.

The #WithRefugees petition will be delivered to UN headquarters in New York ahead of the UN General Assembly meeting on September 19.
