CONSTRUCTIVE CONVERSATIONS WITH BLUE COFFEE -
Livable Kathmandu, MP Gagan Thapa.
Dear Friends of Blue Coffee,
We would like to cordially invite you ALL to our next Constructive Conversations-15
For this month of July, we have invited Member of Parliament, Gagan Thapa, to share with us a document that he and his group have prepared on the topic, 'Livable Kathmandu'. This document is essentially the Group’s initial research, analysis and possible recommendation for improvements, to make Kathmandu into a ‘Livable’ city.
At the same time, we are inviting one representative each from Architectural and Engineering societies that include the Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA), Regional and Urban Planners of Nepal (RUPSON) and Nepal Engineers Association (NEA), as well as a representative from the Media (Editor) to represent the voice of the public, to put in their views and comments on the document and MP Gagan Thapa's presentation.
Incidentally, this document, with a consensus of 15 other MP's from different political parties, was recently submitted to the Prime Minister to press for its implementation.
