Climate Debates

On behalf of "People's Climate Mobilization", we will be having "Climate Debates" from 26th - 27th Nov, 2015 to mark the big March to be held in 28th Nov, 2015 worldwide. 

Climate Debates is designed to be an open tournament that brings together High School & University students to compete in a debating environment with pressing climate issues through the 3 vs 3 Parliamentary Debating Format. 

Goals
1)To highlight and give new perspectives to the various aspects of Climate Change Issues. 

2)To document debater’s opinions on various climate change issues and present to various stake holders. 

3)To give platform for students to start debating and providing regular platform for debaters to enhance their skills. 

4)This tournament should be well received and even perhaps applauded by other Climate affiliated organizations based on Matter of content and quality of organizing.

5)To mark and strengthen the big march on 28th Nov, 2015. 
Specifications

The tournament will address national & global concerns on climate change through relevant debate motions and talks. The first tournament day will consist of 3 debating rounds for Group Stage. The finals will be held on the second tournament day along with the certificate distribution ceremony of our previous event Kathmandu Debating Challenge.
