Bato ko Cinema Month (in collaboration with KIAF)

This October, we went out into the community to ask for your votes to help us win a Good.is award. You probably remember being hassled at least once, either on Facebook, on the street, or by one of us banging on your door at three in the morning. Sorry about that.

But when all the votes were counted, I'm happy to say that we won! And now the fruits of that labor are beginning to manifest. In December, we'll be launching our first Bato Ko Cinema Month! Six movies, six screenings, six awesome chances to watc

h amazing documentaries in the streets of Patan. And with the temperature dropping every day, what better place to be at night then out on the street, right? Right??

This month will be made even more special, as we're partnering with the Kathmandu International Arts Festival to bring you films based around the festival's theme of Earth/Body/Mind. The first screenings will be held at the ghats in Nag Bahal, Patan. We'll have a map up soon to direct you there. All screenings will take place on Thursdays and Fridays at 6pm.

Remember to bring lots of warm clothes and blankets if you can!
